“90 mad, merry, musical moments”

In eighteenth-century Europe, Stan (Stan Laurel) and Ollie (Oliver Hardy) travel with a band of Gypsies, and the group is holding a nobleman's daughter, Arline (Darla Hood). Antonio Moreno plays Devilshoof, and Thelma Todd, in her last film role, is the Gypsy Queen's daughter. James W. Horne and Charley Rogers direct this adaptation of Balfe's opera from the Hal Roach Studios, set to the old songs.
