The Boogeyman: Origins

El hombre del saco (Javier Botet) is a tuberculosis patient from Almeria who wants only to get well, and he will do anything to manage it. His cure is the blood of children, which he takes by snatching them off the street and carrying them away in a sack. Ángel Gómez Hernández builds the film on the crime of Gádor, the real case that inspired this origin for the Spanish bogeyman.
