The Boogie Man Will Get You

“IT'S A CHILLER-DILLER OF A MAYHEM-AND-MERRIMENT SHOW!”

Why do the guests at an old New England inn keep turning up dead in the cellar? Winnie Slade (Jeff Donnell), a young divorcee, buys the place to make it a hotel, and she doesn't yet know about the experiments Professor Billings (Boris Karloff) runs downstairs. Lew Landers stages the mess as comedy, with Billings and Dr. Lorentz (Peter Lorre) treating Winnie's plans as a polite obstacle.
