The Book of Eli

“Some will kill to have it. He will kill to protect it.”

Eli (Denzel Washington) walks west across a ruined America, alone, carrying one book he will not let anyone take from him. In a town run by Carnegie (Gary Oldman), a man who has spent years hunting for that same book, the word on its pages becomes a power people will kill for. Allen and Albert Hughes set it in a world where books have almost all been burned, and this one is the last of them.
