The Boss

Nick Lanzetta (Henry Silva) is a hitman who wants to keep doing his job and stay out of everyone else's business. That gets harder when a war breaks out between the Sicilians and the Calabrians, and he finds himself standing in the middle of it, with Don Corrasco (Richard Conte) and Police Commissioner Torri (Gianni Garko) both circling. Fernando Di Leo closes his Milieu Trilogy here, shooting the underworld in grainy, flat light and keeping his people quiet.
