The Boss

“Watch your assets”

Michelle Darnell (Melissa McCarthy), a wealthy titan of industry, goes to prison for insider trading, then walks out ready to rebuild herself as America's newest sweetheart. Ben Falcone has Kristen Bell's Claire in her orbit, while Peter Dinklage's Renault and others she crossed refuse to forgive her. The film is plainly about money, and how hard it is to stop being the person it made you.
