The Boy and the Beast

“In a world of beasts, he found a family.”

Kyuta, a boy living in Shibuya, wanders into Jutengai, an imaginary world, and loses his way back. He meets Kumatetsu (Koji Yakusho), a lonesome beast who agrees to become his spirit guide. Mamoru Hosoda follows the odd pair into their first adventures, a gruff animal and a small stubborn child who each seem to be missing the same thing.
