The Boy in the Dress

Dennis Sims (Billy Kennedy) lives in an ordinary house on an ordinary street, kicking a football about with his mates and sharing the place with his dad (Steve Speirs) and his brother. Nothing has felt right since his mum left, and school seems grey. Then Lisa, the coolest girl in his class, helps him invent a new self and try it out. Matt Lipsey directs this television adaptation with a light, brisk touch.
