The Boy in the Plastic Bubble

“A lifetime of loneliness...Or one day of love”

Tod Lubitch (John Travolta) was born without a working immune system, so he has lived his whole life inside a sealed room. His food is specially prepared, and the only touch he knows comes through gloved hands. Randal Kleiser follows him into his teens, and the film settles on Tod in his sterile room, the plastic wall between him and the people on the other side.
