The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind

In Malawi, a famine is spreading across the farmland where thirteen-year-old William Kamkwamba (Maxwell Simba) lives with his family. His father Trywell (Chiwetel Ejiofor) is a farmer with little left to harvest, and school fees are now more than the household can pay. Ejiofor, directing for the first time, follows William as he starts building an unconventional way to save his village, a boy with a plan standing in dry, empty fields.
