The Brain

“Mind over matter”

Jim Majelewski (Tom Bresnahan) is a high school student with a talent for pranks and a file full of trouble, and he has stopped trusting the television. Dr. Anthony Blakely (David Gale) hosts "Independent Thinkers," a self-help program whose viewers grow less independent each week, thanks to an alien organism he calls The Brain. Ed Hunt shoots it as a late-night shocker, quick and loud, with the body horror kept close to the screen.
