The Brain from Planet Arous

(1957)Directed by Nathan Juran71 minHorror, Science Fiction
“Science-Fiction's most astounding story!”

The film is set in 1957 in the desert, where atomic scientist Steve March (John Agar) heads out with his colleague Dan Murphy (Robert Fuller) to investigate a burst of radiation. What comes back in Steve's body is an alien brain bent on ruling the world, and his fiancée Sally Fallon (Joyce Meadows) starts to see how wrong he is. Nathan Juran shoots it in black and white, with the scientist's dog watching from the corner.
