The Brain That Wouldn't Die

(1962)Directed by Joseph Green82 minHorror, Science Fiction
“Alive... without a body... fed by an unspeakable horror from hell!”

Dr. Bill Cortner (Jason Evers) is a transplant surgeon who walks away from a car wreck wanting only one thing: to graft his fiancée's head onto a new body. Jan Compton (Virginia Leith) did not survive the crash, but he keeps her head alive in his lab and sets about finding the body he needs. Joseph Green shot it in 1959 on a low budget, and it sat unreleased for three years.
