The Breath

Captain Mete (Mete Horozoğlu) commands forty soldiers posted to a relay station near the Iraqi border in southeastern Turkey, and he wants his men to get through the winter. The post sits far from anything else, and a terrorist raid on it is possible at any hour. Levent Semerci adapts two short story collections by Hakan Evrensel, and Mete spends his days keeping a bored, anxious unit alert for a raid that may never come.
