(1941)Directed by William Keighley92 minComedy, Romance
“She Came Collect and his heart paid the freight . . . in the year's romantic explosion !”

Steve Collins (James Cagney) is a charter pilot with money troubles and a plane that needs paying for. An oil tycoon hires him to kidnap his runaway daughter, Joan Winfield (Bette Davis), before she can marry a band leader. William Keighley sets two of Warner Bros.' biggest stars against each other in a screwball chase, and what drives it is that two stubborn people will not give an inch.
