The Bride with White Hair

Cho Yi-Hang (Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing) wants out. He is the reluctant heir to the Wu-Tang clan throne and the commander of its forces in a war against foreign tribes and a cult. Then he meets Lien (Brigitte Lin Ching-hsia), a killer for that cult who is just as tired of her place, and Ronny Yu follows the two of them into a love that both of their sects want to stop. What the film keeps returning to is how little room a person is given to choose who they love.
