The Bridesmaid

“The New Film from the Master of the French Thriller.”

At his sister Patricia's wedding, Philippe Tardieu (Benoît Magimel) notices the bridesmaid, Senta (Laura Smet), and by the end of the reception he is in love. Claude Chabrol follows the two of them through the first weeks of the affair, with Philippe's mother Christine (Aurore Clément) watching from the edge of the family. Senta says things to Philippe that no one should believe, and he keeps listening anyway.
