The Brink's Job
“The robbery nobody thought could happen by the guys nobody thought could pull it off.”
In Boston in 1950, Tony Pino (Peter Falk), a petty thief fresh out of prison, joins Joe McGinnis (Peter Boyle) and a crew of small-time crooks to rob the Brink's main office. William Friedkin plays the gang as bickering neighbors in a Boston of gray streets and cramped kitchens, with Mary Pino (Gena Rowlands) at home. It comes down to ordinary men who have only ever been handed scraps, going after more than $2 million at once.
