The Broken Circle Breakdown

The family of Didier (Johan Heldenbergh) and Elise (Veerle Baetens), two Belgian musicians who found each other through bluegrass, is in crisis. Their young daughter Maybelle (Nell Cattrysse) has become seriously ill, and the marriage and the music both start to strain. Felix van Groeningen follows Didier and Elise as each tries to hold on to their own faith, and neither can do it for the other.
