The Burning Hell

“20,000 degrees fahrenheit and not a drop of water”

Estus W. Pirkle is a Baptist preacher in Mississippi, and he plays himself here, standing in front of a congregation to describe hell and who goes there. Two men who call themselves Christians come to him and say they don't believe in it. Ron Ormond intercuts the sermon with staged scenes of the damned, shot on grainy 16mm, the cast screaming in cave sets lit red.
