The Butcher's Wife

“She's a psychic who's turning New Yorkers into lovers. Obviously, she's from out of town.”

Marina Lemke (Demi Moore), a clairvoyant, has seen her future husband in a dream, so when she meets Leo (George Dzundza), she marries him and moves to his butcher shop in New York. Terry Hughes sets her behind the counter, where customers like Stella (Mary Steenburgen) and Grace (Frances McDormand) start telling her their troubles. Marina answers each one with advice she can't explain, and she keeps going, still trusting a dream.
