The Cakemaker

Thomas (Tim Kalkhof), a young German baker in Berlin, wants answers about how Oren (Roi Miller), the married Israeli man he loved, died in a car crash. He travels to Jerusalem and takes a job in the small café run by Oren's widow, Anat (Sarah Adler), without telling her who he is. Ofir Raul Graizer keeps the camera close on hands working dough and lets the lie sit quietly between the two of them.
