The Call

(2013)Directed by Brad Anderson96 min · RCrime, Thriller
“There are 188 million 911 calls a year. This one made it personal.”

A teenage girl, Casey Welson (Abigail Breslin), is shoved into the trunk of a stranger's car and dials 911 from a phone she barely has time to hide. The call lands with Jordan Turner (Halle Berry), a veteran operator still shaken by a call that went wrong. Brad Anderson keeps the two of them on the line, a voice in a headset and a voice in the dark, each depending on the other.
