The Can

(2007)Directed by Tomáš Vorel110 minComedy, Crime, Drama

The relationships at one unnamed gymnasium in the Czech Republic never quite make sense, whether between students or between students and teachers. Tomáš Vorel gives the film an ensemble of pupils and staff, among them Michal Kolman (Jiří Mádl), Pavla Malířová (Martina Procházková) and Klára Krumbachová (Lenka Jurošková). Michal drifts through the corridors and classrooms, trying to work out where he belongs among all these odd attachments.
