(1973)Directed by Guerdon Trueblood95 min · RThriller, Crime

“It started as such a simple crime. For 16 year old Candy, dying would have been easier! Was a piece of Candy worth a fortune in diamonds?”

A teenage girl goes missing, and the only one who has seen what happened to her is a boy who cannot say it. Candy (Susan Sennett) is held for ransom by three amateur criminals, Jessie (Tiffany Bolling) among them, who want diamonds from her stepfather. Guerdon Trueblood sets the captors against the girl, and against each other, in a story that stays close to how fragile their trust in one another is.
