The Cannonball Run

“You'll root for them all...but you'll never guess who wins.”

Racers leave Darien, Connecticut for California in an unsanctioned dash that has no prize and no police permission. J.J. McClure (Burt Reynolds) enters with Victor (Dom DeLuise), while Seymour (Roger Moore) and Pamela (Farrah Fawcett) are among the other drivers, and every one of them has a ruse for getting past the law. Hal Needham's film is based on the real 1979 run, so the speed limit is the thing everyone is trying to beat.
