The Captain

“Follow the leader”

Germany, April 1945, and the war is days from over. Willi Herold (Max Hubacher), a young deserter on the run, finds an abandoned Nazi captain's uniform and puts it on only to stay warm. Robert Schwentke follows him as the stolen coat makes strangers obey him, and Willi, hungry and alone, begins to like what the uniform lets him be.
