The Captive

Ariane (Sylvie Testud) lives in Simon's large Paris flat, and she is hiding a part of her life that he cannot name. Simon (Stanislas Merhar) follows her when she goes out and questions her constantly, even in the most intimate moments. Chantal Akerman keeps him close, a man who needs to know everything about her and cannot stop asking.
