The Captive

“When hope is all you have.”

Eight years after their daughter Cassandra was taken, Matthew (Ryan Reynolds) and Tina (Mireille Enos) are still living apart, their marriage broken by the loss. Then small, disturbing clues begin to turn up that suggest she may be alive, and Atom Egoyan sends the two of them back toward the case. Matthew has spent eight years with no answers, and he follows each new sign without asking what it will cost him.
