The Carpenter's Son

“Deliver us from evil.”

The Carpenter (Nicolas Cage) lives with his wife (FKA twigs) and their young son (Noah Jupe) in a remote village in Roman-era Egypt, where he works his trade and keeps his family close. Lotfy Nathan draws on the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, and the household is soon targeted by supernatural forces that the villagers cannot name. The carpenter fears for his son, and the boy and his mother stay near each other through every night.
