The Case of Hana & Alice

“Don't step on the fish in the pool.”

Tetsuko "Alice" Arisugawa (Yu Aoi) starts at Ishinomori Middle School and hears the rumor at once: the boy who sat in her seat before her, the one they call Judas, has vanished and may have been murdered. Shunji Iwai follows her from a classroom of bullying to the house next door, where the reclusive Hana Arai (Anne Suzuki) lives. Alice has no friends at the new school, and the only person willing to talk about Judas turns out to be the strange neighbor.
