The Baggy Trousers Case

In a small Turkish village in 1983, the women have had enough of the men who run the place. Elif (Müjde Ar) leads them into organizing against Ömer Ağa (Şener Şen) and the other macho men of the town, in a loose retelling of Aristophanes' Lysistrata. Kartal Tibet fills the frame with neighbors, and in the last shot the whole village stands in one crowded line.
