The Castle

“Ordinary Family. Extraordinary Story.”

How did a family end up with a house a few yards from the edge of Tullamarine Airport, and why do they love it so much? Darryl Kerrigan (Michael Caton) and his wife Sal (Anne Tenney) built it themselves, with a pride that shows in every odd detail. Rob Sitch sets the whole film in the space between Darryl and his family, who back him without question when the government comes for their land.
