The Castle of the Living Dead

“How much shock can the human brain endure before it cracks?”

Count Drago (Christopher Lee) is a nobleman who keeps a castle and a hobby: he mummifies animals and people. He invites a troupe of traveling entertainers to stay, and Laura (Gaia Germani) and the others accept without knowing what fills the rooms. Warren Kiefer, directing for the first time, gives Drago a courteous, quiet manner that never lets on what he is preserving.
