“It's not so bad being a cat, now is it?”

On an ordinary afternoon in modern-day Japan, schoolgirl Haru (Chizuru Ikewaki) pulls a cat out of the path of a truck, and the cat stands up and thanks her. He is the Prince of the Cats, and his kingdom wants to reward her in ways she never asked for. Hiroyuki Morita sends her to the Cat Bureau, where the elegant Baron (Yoshihiko Hakamada) becomes the one she leans on.
