Moe Berg (Paul Rudd) quits professional baseball and takes a job with the Office of Strategic Services, moving through wartime Europe under more than one name. His assignment is to find out how far the Germans have come on an atomic weapon, and to get close to the physicist Werner Heisenberg (Mark Strong). Ben Lewin keeps Moe quiet and watchful throughout, a man who has learned to say little about himself to anyone.
