The Chamber

“Time is running out.”

Adam Hall (Chris O'Donnell), a young lawyer with a conscience, wants to save a man from the gas chamber, and that man is the grandfather he has never met. Sam Cayhall (Gene Hackman) is a former Ku Klux Klan member on death row, and he is Adam's only client. James Foley keeps the camera tight on the two of them across a prison table, so the room feels smaller each time they talk.
