The Champagne Murders

(1967)Directed by Claude Chabrol98 minThriller, Crime, Mystery, Drama
“Psycho Puppet or Cold-Blooded Killer?”

Someone is killing women connected to a champagne house, and the evidence keeps pointing at Christopher Belling (Anthony Perkins), the gigolo husband of the firm's wealthy owner. Her business partner Paul Wagner (Maurice Ronet) is sure Christopher is behind it, though Christopher insists he has been framed. Claude Chabrol sets the suspicion inside a world of money and parties, where one wrong accusation could cost Paul his partner, his company, or his life.
