The Changeover

Laura Chant (Erana James), sixteen, notices her four-year-old brother Jacko weakening after a run-in with Carmody Braque (Timothy Spall), an ancient spirit who feeds on his life and grows younger as Jacko fades. Stuart McKenzie and Miranda Harcourt set it in a half-demolished Christchurch suburb, where Laura lives with her mother Kate (Melanie Lynskey). Laura has no one to turn to except Sorensen Carlisle (Nicholas Galitzine), whose family knows what is wrong.
