The Chaperone

“One trip can change everything”

Norma (Elizabeth McGovern) boards a train in the early 1920s to take a young dancer from Kansas to New York City, where the girl hopes to make a name for herself. The dancer is Louise Brooks (Haley Lu Richardson), sixteen and unwilling to be supervised by anyone. Michael Engler follows the two through the city, and Norma, a respectable wife, begins to want things for herself too.
