The Chef of South Polar

Eight men are posted to a research station at the South Pole, 14,000 kilometers from home, in cold that makes every day feel the same. Shuichi Okita follows Jun Nishimura (Masato Sakai), the team's cook, as food becomes the one thing that gives their days a shape. Mr. Moto (Katsuhisa Namase) and the others sit at the long table, steam rising off the bowls in front of them.
