The Chinese Feast

In 1995 Hong Kong, Chiu Kong Sun (Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing) has risen from petty crook to gang leader in just a few years. What he wants now is to leave all that behind, move to Canada with Au Ka Wai (Anita Yuen Wing-Yee), and work as a chef, though he can barely cook. Tsui Hark fills the kitchens with steam, clatter and quick cuts, and the whole film moves at the pace of a busy lunch rush.
