The Chosen Ones

“You will not believe in love again”

Sofía (Nancy Talamantes) is fourteen and wants one thing, to stay close to Ulises (Óscar Torres), the boy she loves. That love is what pulls her into a prostitution network in Mexico, and the only way out is for Ulises to bring in another girl. David Pablos adapts Jorge Volpi's novel, and what binds the two of them is a debt that neither one can pay without the other.
