The Christmas Card

Sergeant Cody Cullen (John Newton) gets a homemade Christmas card while serving in Afghanistan, and it touches him enough that he travels to the California town of Nevada City the moment he's discharged. The Spelman family takes him in, among them Luke (Ed Asner) and Faith (Alice Evans), the woman who sent the card. Stephen Bridgewater directs, and Cody has a soldier's whole future to decide against a place that wants him to stay.
