The Christmas Setup

Hugo Spencer (Ben Lewis), a New York lawyer, goes home to Milwaukee for the holidays with his best friend Madelyn (Ellen Wong). His mother Kate (Fran Drescher) runs the town's Christmas celebrations and has set him up to run into Patrick Ryan (Blake Lee), his old high school crush. Pat Mills directs it as a made-for-television romantic comedy, keeping to the familiar pleasures of the form.
