The Christmas Star

“Two kids made a believer out of him.”

Horace McNickle (Ed Asner) is a counterfeiter who wants only to keep making his money and keep the law off his back. Alan Shapiro follows him through the Christmas season, where he crosses paths with Sumner (René Auberjonois), Stuart Jameson (Jim Metzler), and Sara (Susan Tyrrell). Horace is a man who has never needed anyone, and these people are slowly becoming the first relationships he has to reckon with.
