The Ciambra

In Gioia Tauro, a town in southern Italy's Calabria, Pio (Pio Amato) is a fourteen-year-old in a small Romani community, and he wants to be treated as a man. He tags after his older brother Cosimo (Damiano Amato), picking up how to hustle and how to read the streets. Jonas Carpignano follows Pio on the night he sets out to prove he is as good as his brother, a night that will change how he sees the world.
