Mae Holland (Emma Watson) lands her dream job at The Circle, a gleaming tech campus where transparency is the company's faith. She volunteers to wear a camera that streams her life twenty-four hours a day, a gesture the company rewards and amplifies. Her relationship with Ty Lafitte (John Boyega), an engineer who helped build the surveillance tools now consuming the company, fractures under the weight of a system neither can stop.
