The City of Your Final Destination

Omar Razaghi (Omar Metwally) is a doctoral student at Kansas University with a grant to write the life of the Latin American novelist Jules Gund. James Ivory sends him to Gund's rural home, where his brother Adam (Anthony Hopkins), his widow and his younger mistress all have to sign off. Without their authorization the biography doesn't happen, and the grant and his academic future go with it.
