The Clan of the Cave Bear

“At The Dawn Of Mankind, A Woman Led The Way.”

In prehistoric times, the Clan of the Cave Bear is forced to move on when the ground shifts beneath its home. The medicine woman Iza (Pamela Reed) finds a small girl, Ayla, from the "others," and breaks with clan tradition by refusing to let her be killed. Ayla (Daryl Hannah) grows up among people who see her as a stranger, tall and fair-haired, and Broud (Thomas G. Waites) is the one who watches her most closely.
